He was raised in West Branch, near Iowa City, and is the founder of HawkeyeNation.com, which he continues to publish today. Jon is sidekick to Jim Zabel on 'Soundoff' and is the afternoon voice of Hawkeye-Cyclone Updates on 1040 WHO Radio and the Iowa Radio Network.
Jon lives in West Des Moines with his wife & daughter, and enjoys golfing and playing his guitar when not working.
